I was so relieved to find this thread!!! My sex life had been changed drastically in the last 8 months and I feel horrible for BF but I can't help it and then when I am finally confident that it won't be agonizing because pain meds have controlled it all pretty well I run into the med side effect of no orgasm!!! I will have to take more time to read everyones comments on this when I have time to focus completely on it, I truly am glad that someone mentioned this.

Sex life? What sex life? My husband is always scared he's going to hurt me, which he may.

Usually, I'm so tired, it's hard to get in the mood for anything, especially sex.

Warm Regards,

Kelley

[b]I've gone thru more realtionships than I care to think about over the years . I thought it was just me that either felt so bad that sex wasn't even a option ... The worst for me is I love to be touched and when I can I can't enough from my partner .

I've got friends who keep asking me why I get the monthly epidural shots when I go thru 2 to3 days a month of agony . To be honest since I can be that here it's because with the shots I can spend most weekends getting all kinds of exersize in the bedroom

Sex? Isn't that where...uh....sorry I forgot again.

Oh wait, that used to be my favorite full contact indoor sport.

Then I got tired and crancky and sore. Now it's just something I think about once in a while if there's nothing on TV and I can't sleep and it's not too bad a pain day, and the moon and the stars have aligned just right, and someone has sacrificed a chicken at exactly ......Oh well I'm sure you all get the idea.

You guys are funny! I like the idea of toys...LOL.

I do have some pain with sex and there's no such thing as orgasm any more. My husband is older than me and it doesn't take him long to climax, so my pain is very short-lived. I do feel a loss though.

My husband works 58 hour weeks, 10 hours M-F and 8 hours on Sat., not to mention he always goes to Church and Sunday School on Sundays. He's exhausted all the time. Most evenings he sits on the couch snoring. For me it gets depressing after being alone all day. (NOTE: He is good as gold though. He would do anything for me no matter how tired he was).

I've been trying to do more when I feel good. This past Saturday, I tried to be Rachel Ray! I made dinners for the entire week. We've been pretty fat and sassy so far! I did have to sleep all day Sunday.

My mother made me feel terrible Saturday. She said that when my husband comes home from work, he shouldn't have to do anything. She said he shouldn't have to pick up groceries or go to the bank, etc. (This is while I'm trying to be Rachel Ray...good grief, mom!)

Well, I took you guys on a rambling path didn't I? Back to toys... any suggestions? Hahahahahaha!

Suzanne

The day after I got married was the day I started getting sick. So from day 1 my husband and I have had to work through my fatigue and pain. I'm only 25 and we are too young to give up sex. Although this may not sound romantic-we have to schedule a time (like my day off) where I am totally rested(and sometimes that doesn't even work). A lot of the time i use nupercainal(Lidocaine) that was suggested by my doctor to numb some of the skin that is sensitive and use Astroglide. Our main coping tactic is joking. Sometimes it's too hard. But we try our best-we're tooyoung to give up.
