"MDJunction has been just an amazing support for me. The people who are on mdj are so nice! Unlike the many other support sites that I have been on. I have made several friends on mdj who are so supportive and so educated about mental illness. Of course non of us are doctors, but we certainly offer each other hugs, opinions, and advice. I have learned a great deal from my friends on mdjunction. I am also encouraging other people who suffer from mental illness to come on to MDJ. It can be a life line." (jenniferdiva)
I live in a small village in upstate NY and have found about a dozen people in our village alone who are living with CFS/FM. The nearest "local" support group is over 1 1/2 hour drive away.My stepsister(who also has CFS/FM)and I are thinking of starting a support group here at our community center...but...we have no idea how to start one. Does anyone know where we may be able to send for some info. on how to start a group? We really would appreciate any help. Thanks and God Bless to all.
