MDJunction to me

jenniferdiva"MDJunction has been just an amazing support for me. The people who are on mdj are so nice! Unlike the many other support sites that I have been on. I have made several friends on mdj who are so supportive and so educated about mental illness. Of course non of us are doctors, but we certainly offer each other hugs, opinions, and advice. I have learned a great deal from my friends on mdjunction. I am also encouraging other people who suffer from mental illness to come on to MDJ. It can be a life line." (jenniferdiva)

Last night my husband and I went to a movie, I noticed I was really tired yesterday morning so I kinda stayed in bed well during the movie the freezing set in which meant I had to grab my sweater thank God I had it with me. I noticed that when I went to the restroom my feet were killing me along with some back twinges Angry it took me 5 mins to walk down the hall and 5 mins to get back to the theater by the time I sat down I felt like I needed my bed. I woke up this morning and my back was killing meDizzy I hvae een in bed all day and taking pain medicine like crazy. I hate that my doc did xrays on my back and found nothing wrong with it but I know in my heart there is something wrong. Also I have noticed when I have this back pain I have hell going to the restroom it's almost like my bladder doesn't want to work I litterally sit for 10 to 15 mins trying to go,I have an appointment with my primary on Tues and that day can not come fast enough. Sorry I just needed to whine. Thank you guys for listening to me. I pray tomorow will be better.

Angela I am sorry you had such a bad time today. I hope and pray your doctor finds out waht is causing your problem with going to the bathroom. My doc has tried me on 3 different meds for OAB and it works up to a point. At least I have a slight warning before there is an accident.

Let us know what the doc has to say. Best of luck with your appointment.

Wow..sorry to hear of the extra trouble you're having. Several of the gals here including myself have a irritable bladder or interstitial cystitis. I HOPE THIS IS NOT THE CASE!! Keep us updated and make sure your Dr. knows ALL about your Fibro. and that interstitial cystitis goes along with it for alot of women!

I have the same problem, Angela. When my doctor took my off Tramdol, the bladder problem got better. It's back now and I suspect the Baclofen now. I live with it because the pain is too great without the Baclofen.

Have them measure the amount in your bladder before and after peeing as well as pulling a white count blood panel. You might have flacid neurolgical bladder which can lead to urinary tract infections. That sounds almost EXACTLY like what was going on with me up until I started self cathing.

I hate back pain, I have it daily so I certainly feel for you. I also have problems urinating. My md told me that when you take pain meds, your body needs extra fluids so it wants to retain what is in you. I hope you feel better soon, I hope your md can get you in today. Let us know what he says.
