Welcome to the group lorraineeire,

and to your question, not in my experiance. I have times when I am sicker and then get better, but never as good as I once was.

My condition has improved tremendously thanks to having a good doctor, finding the right medication, and exercising as much as possible. Also, this group has helped me a lot. We all have good days and bad days.

Also, I have heard stories from family members and friends about people going into remission, but there is no telling whether or not those people actually had fibromyalgia, or if they are just "stories" for that matter.

Keep your chin up...There will be better days.

remission is a term that one of my old doc's would use when I had times when I was feeling better. At the time I did not know any better, now I do. It would not schock me at all if there are still doc's out there telling people that.
