OK, all the tests are back, incisions healing quite nicely, and praise the good Lord I made it past 14 days without throwing a blood clot. I'M GOING TO LIVE Thanks so much for all the ;;;;;pms, emails and hug to keep me encouraged. No signs of cancer!!!!; Everything came back benign. YEAHHHHHHHHHH. And on top of that I have a rare genetic blood clotting disorder and part of the things to watch out for is that 14 days after surgery the chance is critically high for clots. But you know what is scaring? I had to tell my breast surgeon, her assistant AND the anetheolgist (sp) had never heard of it. Here they are doing surgery and putting me under without a clue about my blood disorder. At any moment something could had happened and I would have been gone and they would never know why, other than to say that during the surgery she threw a clot - sometimes these things happen, etc. While not on this life. I always go in with a letter that is now 9 YEARS AGO from when I had my hysterectomy. And they go by the protocol according to the ones he gave my gyn before the surgery. Now that's scary - then you throw on top fibro and all of a sudden its to much for them. You can see it in their eyes. Too much for them? They ai'nt walked in our shoes have they my fibro buddies!!!!!! kathy
