MDJunction to me

Hazeldee"MDJunction means that I no longer have to feel like I am the only person in
the world with pericarditis. It means that I can talk to others who know
how stressful and how painful having pericarditis can be. It means that I
connect with others to discuss treatments that have or haven't worked for us, so that we have a leg to stand on. I think that having my friends at
MDJunction has allowed me to better mentally and emotionally process my
diagnosis and what it means to me. I feel so lucky to have this community
available to me. I use MDJunction as a way to use my experience to help
others. Reaching out to help others is the only solace I have found since
being diagnosed with pericarditis.

Once again i come to you asking for prayers. Sorry I have been MIA its been hard here. Not only is my sister facing a major surgery to remove half her liver due to the cancer, we have recently found out our aunt has stage 4 lung cancer. 6mths to a years with Chemo. She never smoked a day in her life. Sis goes in for a biopsy today, surgery by the end of the month. We have been in an almost constant state of prayer here. I am so proud of my sister. She has kept to her diabetic diet and is following orders to the letter. She has dropped 40 lbs due to proper diet and walking. Shes ready to fight, and win. I am just sooo proud of her. Thanks all.

Much love and gentle hugs to everyone.

Linda

Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars.

What seems to us bitter trials are often blessings in disguise.

We come to love not by finding a perfect person, but by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly.

I'll keep you in my prayers. I'm sorry you are all having to go through this difficult time. Do remember to take a time out for yourself too.

Determination and the power of prayer are awesome positives to have in going thru what your sister and aunt are at this time.

Of course, I will add them both (as well as your entire family) to my prayers for strength to fight the cancers as well as you (personally) that you also maintain your strength for good health.
