Morning Ann, have a great day as well. I will be doing some yard work as well, since the weather is now spring-like. Just in time for summer. LOL

Hugs, Karen

Good morning. Did not sleep well last night. Ended up having to take a sleep aid (OTC) at 4 so that put me out until 11. I hate taking them but what is a girl to do? I do have a few things to do today. Chores and run to the dump with the trash and recycling.

Hubby broke a piece on his dental bridge and made an appt. with the dentist for 8:30 tomorrow a.m. What the heck was he thinking? 8:30, really? Don't know if I shared but he has Agoraphobia so he can't go alone.

It is gettig late so better get moving.

Take care.

HAPPY JUNE7TH TO ME AND HUBBY, RON! It is our 37th yr together.

I usually make his favorite supper and then we do something on the weekend. I don't know how I am going to do that. I seemed to have lost my brain. I know what I want to cook. But how long? To keep it all hot at the same time? I quess he'll understand, I tried.

He is so great. He does everything that he thinks is a have to do, inside, and also does all the yard work. Weeding the flower beds is taking the weed whip to the weeds. We don't have much company, only when we get to see the grandsons and they sure don't care what the flower beds look like. And he also works 45 hrs each week. But I'll keep him around for several more years.

I am also in a very deep depression with everything still hurting some and my shoulder is still about as bad. But we move on. I just stayed in bed yesterday and would like to today. Whine, whine, whine!

Gentle hugs to all of you and have a great day.

Thank you Princess,

Well, if you read my post above I was going to try to fix Ron's favorite meal for our Anniversary and then we will go out Sat.

Well, I wanted to make a peach pie. Not to hard, right? I buy my crust from an Amish Bakery here cause I can never get the crust in the pan. $2.25 for 3 single crust. That sure is better than me in the pie dough and the words I would be using right about now.

Pie is in oven, and decided to wash bowls up as I went. I don't remember it taking so many bowls. Well, I was down to the last big Pyrex bowl that I mixed it up in, and it slipped out of my hands. My left hand is not too good anyway. So water all over me and the cupbboards. Thought I'd try it again, and you guessed it, it slipped again and even more water slashed out this time, I think. I am soaked, the cupboard below is soaked and the carpet is soaked. Didn't plan on cleaning house.

I got dressed first so I wouldn't be in pj's and hestitated about putting a top on, just staying in pj top but NNNOOOO! (I always spill something on me) I put my top on and now here goes putting on another top. But cupboard doors are clean.

I sure hope the rest of supper goes better. Please say a little prayer for me that I get it together somehow.

Hugs to everyone,

Debbie

I'm an Advocate

Prayers said Debbie. I just know your dinner was great and that just getting up and doing something helped your depression, even if you had a mess and didn't expect that, it sounds like it kept you busy most of the day.

I'm fighting depression and there are days (not any real recently) yeah for me!!!!! But I am trying to do as many things I can in a day so the depression leaves. Do something you enjoy.

This morning I went to weight watchers and got up at 6 am all on my own. I was so excited about that espeecially. Then went to ww and I lost 2.4 pounds which puts me up to 6.6 pounds, or as the leader says, "a little more than 24 sticks of butter". I loved that, she is a great leader.

Got pretty nervous about some chest pains I got today, Brought 6 water bottle up at one time and I don't do stairs well, with heart problems and knees, etc.

Now on to you and Ron!!! Congratulations to you two for 37 years. We've got you beat by two years. We were just married 39 years. That is a great accomplishment for all 4 of us. Like I said, I am sure that your dinner was great, and that your dinner out will be wonderful. Do you know what kind of restaurant you are going to, or are you cooking and going to a show or something?

I hope you have a wonderful time this weekend. Let us know how it went.

Love and Hugs~

Christine
