*waves*

I just found this site and happy there is a group here.

I'm shy so may not say too much in the beginning. Blush

Recent "diagnosis' of fibromylagia. I put that in "" because I've been struggling like this for years and years but... finally found a doctor who would listen and finally ruled everything else out. She wants to start me on Cymbalta. But I don't know.

It's all very new....

Will go now. Look forward to being a part of the group.

*BIG WAVES BACK* Smile Hi Sunf1ower. We're so glad you found this site and this board! Don't be shy, just jump right in Smile

Why are you hesitating on the Cymbalta? ARe you in a lot of pain all the time? I was on cymbalta it didn't do anything for me. Lyrica helped but my insurance wouldn't cover itSad

Look forward to getting to know you!

Hi Dixie.

I've been on psychiatric meds before and always had really strong side effects. Everything I've read about Cymbalta I'm just hesitant. I'm in pain...and I do want something to help... but I also don't want it to get worse or add things to my already full plate.

I'm still thinking and reading. Have until Tuesday to decide.

thanks for the welcome Smile

hello and welcome to the group, glad you found us. I take Cymbalta it really has only helped me with my depression the pain is still there. But, with all meds it is try and find something that works for you. What works for me might not work for other people. Hate to say it I live in pain almost everyday and it isn't any fun. It can be hard to work, but, you have to try all and see what works. I've seen where people have tried all kids of meds for years and then find something that works for them. The key is to either find the right meds that work for you or find something so it don't take over your life.
