MDJunction to me

djfilippone"Before I found this site I felt so alone.  Watching my daughter struggle with IH and being treated like she had two heads from doctors.    I have plenty of family and friends but there was nobody that really knew what she was going through.
I not only have support and love from others who will listen and share their
story, but I have made some forever friends.  Having this support site does make a difference to many.

Hi I am a 55 y.o. woman who was an active vibrant, nurse, which I was forced to retire from when I was in a coma in 2001, anyway since then I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and have basically suffered in silence, I also suffer from mild dementia, which keeps me from communicating with others. Just dealing with the everyday struggles of chronic fatigue and pain. My daughter told me about this website so I thought I would check it out, I have no other options or no one that understands, the way I feel.

Welcome Nanny~

It's my pleasure to welcome you to our "fibro family". We are the best support group around and I am glad that you found us, but sorry for the pain and sufferimg you go through every day.We are all in the same "boat" so you will get the best support and understanding here, than anywhere else.

We will always be here for you. Just jump in on any ongoing conversation or start your own, it's up to you. Sometimes it is slow here on the weekend so don't be surprised if you don't see much activity this weekend. Please don't let that scare you away. Some of us whose husbands are off on the weekends, don't visit as often on the weekend and visit with their husbands on the weekends most of the time.

Now kick back and relax and make yourself at home. I look forward to getting to know you better.

Wecoming Hugs~

Christine
