I would call and insist on being seen today or tomorrow at the latest.

I'm very sorry you are in so much pain, I will say a prayer for you for some relief. Are you surprised at the test results? Are you happy? Congratulations in order? If I'm invading your privacy, just say so, I won't be offended. I'm glad you came right off of the med and I wish I could be of more help. Just know that we're here if you need to vent okay?

Hi--I'm Linda. You have a lot of new information to take in and process! Congrats on the pregnancy Smile /Sad . I understand your physical pain, I've had fibro for over 10 years, but was diagnosed @5 years ago. Check out the discussion thread "20 Things That Help." There are several ideas listed that you could use that might lessen the pain. Welcome to the group, I'm new here, too. It really helps to finally know people who understand our strange condition. Take care, and you will be in my prayers. Hope to talk to you later.

Hi Christina,

You might consider the Guaifenesin Protocol as it is a natural way to treat fibro. I've been on it for over 2 years and have gotten much better. Here are the links to the website:

Christina, welcome to our group. we're glad you found us.

Try long soaks in a hot bath, soft music, a heating pad, deep, slow breathing - in through the nose, out through the mouth. Anything that will help you relieve stress and take your mind off of your pain.

Relaxation or meditation tapes can help. It is proven that if you can find a mental distraction, your pain does not feel as severe. That is why the nurses want you to concentrate on your breathing during childbirth...as a distraction.

Call your doctor or pharmacist and see if Tylenol PM or Advil PM will be safe to take. Stress and tension, both mental and physical, will intensify your pain.

If hubby massaging you will help, ask him to. If massage is too painful, sometimes the warmth from his hand softly rubbing you where it hurts can at least be comforting.

Let me also take this opportunity to remind everyone...it is NOT WISE to stop certain prescribed meds cold turkey. Especialy things like Cymbalta, Lyrica, Xanax, and many others. You must wean off of them slowly, unless your doctor has advised you otherwise.

Keep us posted, Christina - on your pain level and your pregnancy.

Congratulations!

(Hugs)
