It is my sad duty to tell you that Christine and Jim's much loved brother-in-law Bob passed away calmy yesterday, with his wife Nancy at his side.

Chrstine will be with her family this weekend, attending the funeral and then the christening of little Anna the following day, and wanted you all to know she likely won't be here posting until Monday..

She asks for our prayers at this sad time.

To my wonderful group leaders, Karen, and Missy, I give a very sweet thank you for moving this to another thread.

I am under the influence of night meds, but I am trying very consciouly to send this message. I want to thank Karen and Missy from the bottom of my heart.

I am very said, we have lost a very special man.I just still cannot believe it. I don't want to go up to the casket, because it will make it so real to me, and I want him back. He was so much fun, kind, always a gentleman. Did the dishes every day for my dear mother in law, made the ice for her, turned the calendar everyday. Did it all, it is just a terrific loss.

He is going to be laid out for 8 hours (wife has changed her mind several times) so what I did, was go to our favorie florist, and we bought a afghan, with an angel on it with a beautiful saying on it. They said her, at these funeral home, the spread them out with the flowers on a stand. It is so prety, and a reminder of how much she loved her husband Bob. All the flowers will get dumped in the garbage. I wish she, or she could ask someone to do it, I would do it for him. Take them apart and take them to nursing homes or people in the hospital that don't get company. I've seen that happen before, and the people just love it and get a huge smile on their face. I'm getting very sleepy so should head for bed, so we can be at the funeral home a 1 pm, about 40 minutes from here.

Thanks again from the bottom of my heart. I love that you care and consider my feelings. It means more than you could ever know. Thank you for doing this for me, and being the special sisters that I have.

Much love and soooooo many big hugs~

your sad, depressed, mom, grandma, sister, friend, and gems~

Sissy Chrissy (aka Christine, Chris) which ever name you like best for me.

Nigty night, sleep tight. The kids have asked us to watch the girls, so you may not hear from me until Tuesday or later. Depends how exhausted I am after the funeral, and

Thank you so very much Anelle.

Your words are very special to me, and touch my heart. It is so wonderful to think that others are thinking, praying, sending healing light, etc for us and our famly just make me so happy to know that I have wonderful people in my life, that just because we only hear about the bad people on the news, doesn't mean it includes us. We have many blessings. It's just sometimes I have a hard time with this. I have been sick since I was a small child with lupus, and right now is not a good time for my lupus to raise it's ugly face!!

You are so sweet though. It means so very, very, that you were thinking of me this weekend. Thank you for being you, so special.

Love and prayers for you~

Christine

Hope you are feeling better and you were able to enjoy your weekend.
