At least I hope it is terrific for everyone. Smile

Doing pretty good here, and its due to a good night's sleep, I'm sure!

It has cooled down considerably the last 2 days and feels so good, but will heat back up to a normal June temp by tomorrow it seems.

I am not posting much as my pc is having a slowdown problem and my keys start to stick really bad after a few minutes. I can't find where my disk cleanup is now. This Vista is so different in the setup. Any help out there for me? I am not tech minded at allTongue

sticking now and have to pound the keys over and over to get them to hit. grrrrrr!!!

Hugs,

K

Hey Ladies!

It is hot and humid here in Minnesota! I've been in air conditioning all day, so I haven't felt it too much. I've got my monthly friend right now so I'm very achey and tired! Tired, tired, tired! I'll probably just eat dinner and go to sleep tonight after work.

Hope you guys are having a great Tuesday!

Annelle

It's very hot and humid here as well. We had the girls all day today so mom and dad could do some painting. Busy day when you have 2 children under 2 years old. The oldest being 19 months.

Most of the family has come in town. They are not moving Jim's brother in law to a regular hospice today which was a possibility. He is so close to death that they said he probably would not have made the trip. They took his feeding tube out and everything except morphine for pain. He is in a coma, and we are just waiting to hear about Bob. Scott ran up to the hospital holding hospice area they have to see him and he said he definitely has the death rattle like my dad did (he remembers as little as he was) and is in a coma, or so it appears and he has been like that since before fathers day. So sad, he went in with an infection in his foot and will not come out alive. All his organs are shutting down, when they suctioned him out on father's day, it was all blood, no mucus just complete blood.

I had a scheduled hair appointment for tomorrow night and I am happy about that, and we are going out to what was going to be a dress for him for Anna's christening on Saturday, but I will buy something subtle, no flashy and wear it to the funeral as well. Dress barn is running a special if you purchase 2 dresses so if they are inexpensive I may just buy two since I have lost weight.

I don't know if his stepson, Jim's sisters son is coming in from England or not. He was just here for his grandmother's funeral (his father is deceased and his mom remarried this man, Bob. Nancy's daughter and sil got in this afternoon, while Scott was up at the hospital, as well as bil's daughter, friend, and her daughter who is expecting any day. I hope we don't have a clash of schedules with the funeral and the Christening. We would be torn, does Jim go to his sister's husband's funeral, or his granddaughter's Christening. If Jim's mom calls I am going to mention it to her and if Craig does come in from England again, depending on when Bob passes, of course we want to attend the funeral, so hopefully she can, if need be hold off a day. We waited three months for this date for the Christening, because the Priest that is doing the Christening is a Monsingior (sp) and he Christened Lisa, married Lisa and Scott, and Christened Lindsey and now Anna. He is a very nice man. When the kids were married, he walked around and talked to every single person at that reception. Lots of people he didn't know, but he was just amazing.

Anywho.....when Bob passes, I will try to let you know, but if you don't hear from me for awhile, I am probably at the funeral home and didn't have time or acess to the computer to let you know. We have no idea how long she plans to lay him out 1 or 2 days, we have not asked. It's not something you want to ask sister at a time like this for her. I pray that he doesn't have to suffer much longer. Jim's mom usually calls us every night when she gets back to house (Nancy's) so we don't know if they are all still at the hospital, or if since Nancy's daughter and hubby came in, maybe they went back to the house and went to bed early. I know Nancy has been staying all night with Bob, so I am sure she will continue to do so until he passes. She worked at that hospital for many years as a nurse, so the girls that still work there, probably make special plans for her and let her shower there, etc. He is in a private room, and it is large, so all of the immediate family may be there. Nancy has two children one from 1st husband and 1 from 2nd husband, and Bob has 2 children from another marriage and they all have grandchildren and are expecting a great grandchild. It's a sad night here tonight. I wish I had gone to see him the other night (father's day), but I wasn't even up to going to the kids house. It was a treat to have them here today though. Lindsey and papa in the pool were hilarious and my camera battery was dead in one camera and the card was filled up in my other camera and they have different size cards and batteries so I didn't get any pictures today. Bummer!! Anna is getting interactive, smiles so much even with her painful thrush. She loves her meds though. She smiles so big after you give it to her. She loves her bouncy chair. She gets those legs going and kicking the foot pads and it plays music when you do that. She's beginning to laugh, but boy you better be in her view, cause if she doesn't see a human being, she cries. Maybe a little spoiled at home with momma all day before daddy's school years was over. Gosh, it is so grand being a grandma and grandpa. Grandma and Lindsey had pizza for lunch with veggies and fruit and then a cookie. Lindsey doesn't know granpa is very picky eater, and she kept trying to feed him pizza. She shares everything, food, toys, water, milk. lemonade. She's a sweetie and is going to be a happy girl just like her big sissy. Love those girls.....it's just grand. I wish I could get them about three days a week.

Got to run and see if I can delete something I was told I wrote on facebook that I should not have written. After night meds...not good. Wrote about doc only giving uncle Bob a couple of days. It was after my night meds, and even thought I am on night meds, I'm going to go on and see if I can delete that. I had no idea I wrote that until my son called to night and asked me what I was thinking. My meds must make me really locco coconuts, so I must go try to delete that.

Much love and big appreciative hugs to all of you for all your support always, you are all very special people in my life. God Bless All of You.

Chrissy

Hello ladies, just typing by. It was a hot and humid one in Oklahoma as well.

Miss Oregon, I would not spend much time trying to fix your keyboard. You can get a good used one from a thrift store or yard sale for cheap.

Now I must tell myself that I have to fall asleep and hope that it works.

Goodnight ladies.

May every day be Caturday!

Thanks jda, it isn't my keyboard with the problem. working fantastic right now. It's in my cp system. I need to do a disk scan and clean-up but can't for the life of me find them in system tools any more. in fact can' even find system tools now. Vista is so dfferent from XP as it is, but I know it used to come up under that before.

computer gremlins are the bane of my existence! Like mosquitos, they just Love me. lol
