MDJunction to me

liamacker"The part of my recovery plan that I would say made up 80% is MDJ. I suffered a lot prior to finding MDJ, felt alone and had no one to talk to who really understood me. In the Bipolar Group I found like minded individuals who I could relate to and who offered support to me when I needed it. As I recovered, I could then offer support to them which gave me a good feeling about myself. I have met some great people here who I would class as good friends and know I would still be in the slump I was in without them. Now I am stable, I know that MDJ plays an important part in keeping me that way. Thank you MDJ for being there for us all and making us no longer feel alone." (liamacker)

I'm an Advocate

Good evening everyone~

Had Lindsey unexpectedly today. Anna had to go into the doc, so Scott brought Lindsey down when he came to work (I think this is his last week teaching). We are also going to have the girls for a half day on Wednesday. I guess Lisa made plans quite some time ago and I don't remember (surprised?) but their names were written on my calendar, and it's my handwriting, so I must have known at some time that we had both girls. Scott only has a half day that day thank goodness. Just as I was starting to feel better, we babysit 3 days in less than a week. It's done me in again. I was in bed quite a bit today though and that just is not like me at all with Lindsey here. I hope I recuperate by Wednesday so I don't have to stay in bed when both of them are here. Poor Jim, he's a great guy, but he may not be a happy camper if I left both of them with him to bottle feed and get Lindsey's lunch ready, etc, etc.

Going to run for now. I am pretty tired and am looking for a wheelchair for our trip. I really want to cancel, but even Jim now says, we're not getting any younger and we need to do what we want to do. I'm Like "c'mon, will you let me turn 60 please before calling be old"? He had heart problems as well, and I guess he figures if we run out of money, we just move into the senior towers that you pay based on your income, that we should just do what we are healthy enough to do when we are a little younger. We are taking more days than we need, so that we can just rest on the days when I need to do that. I know tomorrow, I am sleeping until I wake up. Not getting up early, no way!!

Love to all and gentle hugs~

Chrissy
