I had hallucinated on Zanaflex this morning!! It was so scary, Istill don't feel well. I'm frightened still and my chest feels so tight. Am I okay or should I go to the er? I have a DR appt tomorrow anyhow.

Hey hun, I had the same thing happen to me on Elavil/Amitriptyline. I had to go to the ER because they needed to do an EKG and make sure no damage was done to my heart.

Is this your first time taking it or have you been on it for a while? I had been on this for about 3 weeks.

I would advise you to go to the ER. Better safe than sorry, ya know?

My hallucinations were seeing bugs running across the floor, seeing shadows, thinking someone was coming through the door, but wasnt. Wish I had more info for you.

Candyjean, Zanaflex did not agree with me either. I am so sorry that you are having a negative reaction. I suggest you call the Doctor or go to the ER as soon as possible.

Thank you all so much! I have been taking it for quite awhile, but never had any side effects before. I saw snakes everywhere and a man with a scuba mask dressedin black was chasing me... ugh craziest thing I've ever went through. I called dr going first thing in the morning. Thanks again
