You get Fibro-Fog...it does not include pain...you can't forget the pain....also Fibro-Fog does NOT seem to include ex boyfriend/husband memories either....

Fibro-mites are on a lot of medication....to say things like "you don't look sick" or "You were ok yesterday" or "It's in your head" to such a person on so many meds...is NOT the smartest thing to do. In court we can testify we were under heavy medication and cant remember how we got our foot up your @ss.....

Fibro-pain seems to be worse when you WANT to do something, never when you DON'T want to do something...BUT can also come in handy as a excuse to get out of that "thing" you want to get out of.....hey, we are allowed to use that excuse, we have to have a "perk" some where!..."ewww ummm, babysit your 8 kids? Oh sorry not a good pain day!"....

Fibro-meds, some can make you gain weight, also lack of exercise....but again....we have a excuse.....whats there's? Also a good come back to those who have noticed you have gained weight.. "My meds make me gain weight, soooooo I was wondering...are you on them too?" Also you can looked really shocked and say "OMG!! I didn't know YOU have Fibro too! Is that why your over weight? Are you in too much pain to exercise?"

Fibro-dating, explaing the fact that you don't have the energy 90% of the time to do the whole dating thing...but on the up side, you spend 90% of your time in bed Might be a plus!

I'm still trying to figure out if you can use

Fibro-Fog to get out of a speeding ticket...."But I forgot what the speed limit was?"

frustrated...

Crystalvision, thanks for the laugh! I'm going to print it off so when I'm down or get mad at someone, I'll use it as my excuse. "What? I thought she was serious! I didn't know she was joking."!!!!

Loved the second paragraph...! Smile

I have to confess that sometimes, only once in a blue moon, mind you, I have used my fibro to get out of a situation that was making me uncomfortable.

I leave the frontroom a lot when my dear hubby is watching sports on t.v. I can't stand the noise!

Thank goodness, hubby understands this.

As for the rest... when I want to do something, no darned fibro is going to stop me from doing it. I may have to do it slower or only a few minutes at a time, but I'm doin' it!

The only real time that fibro came to my rescue was just recently when my dh wanted to go away to visit his new grandson and I pleaded fibro to stay home for 3 whole days on my own!

It was heavenly and I got so much done - sewing, recycling a sweater, going for a walk by myself.

I was really glad to see him when he got home again but I have to confess, I do hope he will do the same thing again next year.

A girl needs some 'me' time!

Fibro fog is great for tv watching too. What's a re-run? LOL Laughing

Great post! Laughing

Fibro-pain seems to be worse when you WANT to do something, never when you DON'T want to do something...

Unfortunately, this is just too true.

However, I can watch movies time and time again, because I never remember the endings.

Great tasting lemonade you made out of those Fibro lemons, Crystal!
