Just got back this a.m. from seeing the specialist who did the Upper G.I. Endoscopy on me on the 15th December.

He had pictures and everything to show me... How nice!Dizzy

But as usual the test showed no problems... it seems I don't have cancer (hurray), no ulcer (are you sure?). I do have a little tiny tear in my tummy but that can't be the cause of my discomfort...

So we came home happy on the one hand that nothing showed up but perplexed because I still have the problem.

Well, I got to thinking of all the dr's that have told me there is nothing wrong with me and came up with this...

WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN THE DR SAYS IT'S 'ONLY' FIBRO..

1. Ask him to explain the symptoms away (he can't)

2. Smile pleasently

3. Leave

4. Find another doctor...

Of course I don't really have the 4th option in this case, I mean as he had pictures and all - definitely not my best side either - but everything did look nicely pink and liquidy - so he must be right...

It's just my old leery feelings about doctors that tell me it's only fibro that makes me question at all.

And where do they come from anyway, saying it's ONLY fibro? For sure they don't have it or there'd be no ONLY about it.
