I feel an annoying itch around the right side of my mouth, fingers/ feet, right shoulder, thigh, and calves. I scratch and scratch and can never seem to get it. It's almost like it's on a misplaced body part. I know it's there but it isn't! I have had it more and more lately.. Is this from fibro...any ideas?

I deal with the itching on my back and on my arms, usually on my back it starts on one shoulder blade and roams all over my back, it drives me insane especially if hubby isnt here to scratch it and its not in a place where I can reach it Sad
Every day may not be good, but there is something good in every day.....

Same here -mostly itches on back yet think this is the scoliosis pains as well as the fibro/cfs! Agree with gma48 also as we may have slightly different symptoms yet we can all identify with the pains plus frustrations of this dual diagnosis of conditions of fibro+cfs, truly! Do you itch your calves until they bleed? Does the back itch feel like the bones itch, except there is no bone there? Does your face itch as if Novocaine is wearing off, so you scratch, but you can't actually feel it? My "itches" are where yours are...only doctor I saw for it immediately tested me for Lymes, which was negative.

I get that itch. It's Fibro. It gets worse when my allergies get worse, but it's really bad sometimes, like a pain flair. Ask your Fibro doc about it and see if there's anything that can calm it. I've read that if your skin is dry it makes it worse, so make sure you're moisturising! I hope it gets better!

I have had the same itching for over 10 years. It started right after I got my wisdom teeth pulled so I thought it was the pain meds but it never went away! Sometimes it will be arms, other times leg, or foot, etc. I have found that for me it is a histamine problem and if I take a zyrtec every day it is controlled. The scary thing is the DRs never seemed concerned about the itching so I just got used to the allergy meds every day.

I did just learn a few new things about histamines and have found a great product to strengthen the walls of my arteries which keeps the histamins from moving around and prevents the itching. It also helps with seasonal allergies and being allergic to cats. No more zyrtec for me!

I haven't had any itching that's not related to dry skin but we all can have a variety of symptoms. I would check into a visit to an allergy doc just to make sure there's not something else going on. Good luck, I hope you find some relief...
