I am noticing that I am ending up with more and more of these lil guys. They used to be in my legs only, but have been showing up on my arms as well.

Kookey,

Idk. I have vericose veins in my legs, but none in my arms. I've never heard of it related to fibro.

Now I'm curious.

I'm an Advocate

Hey Kookey,

I've never heard of vericose veins being linked to FMS, but it's always possible. At this point, I wouldn't put anything past this crazy condition! I don't have them, but I'm pretty surprised I don't. I do a lot of sitting at the computer with my legs tucked under me, and when I sit on a couch somewhere, I tuck my legs up under me. I don't exercise a lot. I think my lifestyle is probably pretty compatible with them, so maybe that's what it is with developing them? Perhaps they go with FMS because of our change in lifestyle? It would be interesting to see how many others have them.

Hugs,

Jen Smile

Just because it's impossible doesn't mean it can't happen.

I'm not a doc, so anything I say is my opinion only. Nothing I say is meant as offense, I offer what I can as help. I believe in educating myself on all my medical issues and being my own advocate, for no one else with do that on my behalf. I recommend we all do the same!

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Perhaps I truly am insane for expecting these docs to listen to me when I say the same things repeatedly to no avail? LOL. I am tired of seeking out new docs and getting the same result time and again...Forgive me if I seem bitter some days.

Something has changed within me/Something is not the same/I'm through with playing by/The rules of someone else's game/Too late for second-guessing/Too late to go back to sleep/It's time to trust my instincts/Close my eyes and leap...I'm through accepting limits/Cuz someone says they're so/Some things I can not change/But till I try I'll never know/Too long I've been afraid of/Losing love I guess I lost/Well if that's love/It comes at much too high a cost/I'd sooner buy Defying Gravity/Kiss me good-bye I'm Defying Gravity/I think I'll try Defying Gravity/And you won't bring me down...

I do and they really hurt during a flare-up..especially this one. Also, I started getting spider veins in my thighs at a really young age. I thought, then, that the cause was because of the sensitivity to touch in that area, but now I think it is definitely linked with this. Be it poor circulation do to life-style, etc..

I had varicose veins, for which I had surgery after my 2nd pregnancy. I've never thought to link it to fibro.
