I have pain in both legs, but not really where I think they won't hold me up. I'm sorry you are dealing with this on top of everything else. Feel better soon!

Have you tried Myofacial & Trigger Point Release therapy? My leg muscles get like a tightly knotted rope and they hurt and it''s difficult to stand or walk. I see an occupational therapist who does these therapies and my legs feel better afterwards. I do have repeated appointments otherwise they just tighten right back up again. But at least it works for a time

HiDebi,

This is me to a T! My doctors don't do anything about it though I complain. I can't stand up for more than a couple of minutes at a time. Then I have to grab onto something to hold me up. I can't walk more than a few feet even with my cane, so I have a wheelchair. It seems like my doctors just don't know what to do with me. But reading your post...I don't feel so alone and like I'm just a hypochondriac. Thanks

i am glad t know that we are not alone in this, i was so frightened that something else was going on. i have learned my limitations the hard way. i will get a scooter for distance, and never sleep in a tent again ever never.i must be crazy to think i could have even done that.this fibro and chronic fatique is a mess sometimes, especially when we do dumb things like i did. i am better orgetting better rather but still sleepy. it will take a while i guess to back to my normal.thanks for your reply we are all in this together.Smile

SmileDon't be hard on yourself. I made that mistake this summer...camping in a tent...the air mattress lost air during the night and I ended up on the ground, not able to get up. Sometimes I guess we do learn the hard way and I think it's because its hard for us to accept saying, "I can't do that." Hope you feel better soon.

Yes we do! I pushed myself through my grandson's birthday party today and now I'm wiped out. I can sleep in tomorrow...ahhhh! Hope I won't have trouble sleeping. I realized that we are really troopers as most, if not all, of us smile through our pain and fatigue. Hugs, Therese

Deb,

I've had bilateral thigh pain on and off for years. It is one of my hot spots. I don't necessarily feel like my legs won't support me, but I do get really stiff if I sit to long without getting up and moving a bit. Sorry you're hurting.
