MDJunction to me

mabri"When I was diagnosed about 18 months ago with fibromyalgia, I didn't know where to turn. I got on my computer and looked for a support group where I could talk to other people with the same disease and get some help...Information, suggestions, mostly just what I can do now that I have this.....disorder/disease/syndrome...I didn't even know what to call it. I found MDJ, and yes, there was a support group for fibro. I started a post, and figured I would never get an answer. However, very quickly I was welcomed in, and became really involved in the group. I received help, support, friendship and the feeling of being truly cared about by these strangers who had become like family to me. Now, I have been here for about a year and a half...I have become a group leader, and love every minute of it. It is so wonderful to be able to help others. I still receive help and answers from the members in this group. The fibromyalgia is where I go to help, support, listen, care and even laugh. I don't know what I would do without this group." Has anyone tried it? I can't seem to find an honest review. Every reviewer has a link to the website but it's an affiliate page so I don't know if their opinion is unbiased.

Please let me know...thanks Chris

Chris,

I haven't tried it But you are right everything leads back to the web site for the books.

All I was able to find out was that it is a collections of at least 6 books.

They also claim that it can cure Hypothyroidism, Diabetes, sexual dysfunction , Obesity and pimples.

Any product that can do all that would be all over the news. Everyone wants to be the one that discovers the miracle cure. People claim that big drug companies keep products like this off the market. However the market for such "Cures" far exceeds the profits that drug companies make.

I believe that products on the internet are the same as products in stores.

The 1st. book cost $47.00 multiplied by 6 that is a total of $282.00 Would you pay that in a store. "If it walks like a duck"

Thank you for the response, Gail. Greatly appreciated. I have noticed how much of a help you've been to people in these forums. Just want you to know how much of an encouragement you've been for me and for so many others. Thank you.

It seems that FL Bible is a way of life. That seems to be the product they're selling.

Also, I've just been diagnosed with Fatty Liver through ultrasound two days ago. I used to drink some but not much. Low tolerance to alcohol so I'm guesssing mine is Non Alcoholic.

Strange thing is that I've been losing weight very quickly WITHOUT EVEN TRYING! About five pounds a week over the last month. That along with the pain in my upper right quadrant took me to the Doctor. No gallstones, blood levels appear to be normal. Is unexplained weight loss a common symptom of FLD?

I'm a little overweight but not majorly.

Greatly appreciate any feedback.

Chris,

Weight loss can be a symptom of any liver disease. However rapid weight loss , Especially without trying can be a warning sign.Hepatologist warn liver patients (Even those that are obese) to loose weight slowly as rapid weight loss can cause more damage to the liver.

Any alcohol can cause liver disease in some people no one knows why some people can drink alot for many years and be OK and others can not.

On biopsy alcoholic and Non alcoholic are indistinguishable. The diagnosis on Non alcoholic comes with the Dr interview that the person has not consumed enough alcohol to cause damage.

Many researchers believe there is a underlying family tendency toward liver damage.

There also tends to be a trend toward insulin resistance, Which you can have even if not diabetic.

Most Fatty Liver patients do very well as far as living a normal life.

Most however seem to have the right side pain , Nausea and fatigue that troubles other patients with Liver disease.

Maintaining a health life is the most important thing you can do for yourself. Eating right , avoiding all alcohol forever, and following your Drs. treatment plan are as essential as being a strong advocate for your self. Keep copies of all test results this can be very useful as time goes by. Remember that even simple Fatty Liver is a life long issue even if you reverse it you will always have to be careful.

If you continue to loose weight you should request further work up by your Dr. There can be many causes.

Thank you again, Gail. My doctor told me that more than likely, the diarrhea is what could've caused my rapid weight loss. A month ago, I had diarrhea for a week, then last week...same thing. Now that I know I have to change my eating habits, hopefully, it slows down.

We'll see.

Hope that you are doing well. I know that you have your own challenges right now. You will be in my prayers.

Chris
