Hi to all from Slada! HEPATOMEGALY I have ultrasound and it show enlarged liver 17,6 and I think my blood test are ok,AST,ALT and I do not know what is reasons? I start to feeling pain on right side,where is gallbladder and I was thinking I have stone,but ultrasound show liver. I am very concern and I do not know where I need to go next and what do do next.I never drink alcohol... I am seeing my doctor on Monday,but he is not great so I have to fight for myself all the time.He will maybe tell me,no this is ok...or your blood test is ok,you do need to worry. I need your help and suggestions. Thank you so much! Slada, You need to find a new Dr if possible. A enlarged liver can be from (Fatty Live , Hepatitis , NASH , even common viruses. Even with a enlarged live you could still have gallbladder problems, Sometimes even with out stones it will fail to function properly Gail Gail

Thank you so much my friend.I am so so worry,because I have pain.I know it is not hepatitis,so other things I have no idea.I do not know why I feel pain? I am going to see my family doctor tomorrow and I will try to get referral for specialist and if he does not want I will have big discussion with him. My dear friend I got in argument with my doctor,can you believe he didn't tell me about my liver,he turn page but I got results from radiology so I know what was write.I told him,what about my liver,he told me it is ok,little larger and I told him NO it is lot of larger...I want to see hepatologist.He told me,you don't need you can have second ultrasound for 6 months.I told him NO why you are doing those things to me,he was so so mad and he told me......ok I will send you......he was so mad,he told me you are teaching me my job and I am a doctor.I told him 12cm in diameter is normal liver and my is 17,6 cm......he told me how do you know,I told him I have computer and I have knowledge even if I am not doctor.HE WAS SO SO MAD AND WENT FROM OFFICE....... Slada, Good for you. Don't let it slide . You can't work at fixing the problem if you don't know what the problem is. My Dr. kept telling me it was because of a virus (which can happen) By the time I got help I had cirrhosis and was almost dead. If it turns out to be nothing at least you'll know Gail Gail

My dear Gail I am so so sorry to hear about your problem,how you doing now my friend? I know I have to fight for myself but sometime is hard because I have bad doctor. I am looking to find someone else but it is very hard because I was involved in car accident last year and nobody want to except me know,only after everything is done. I am glad I can share with you my problem and get advice because I do not know who to ask for suggestions.Do you know is is same fatty liver and enlarged liver? You may need some type of different testing. And it may turn out to be nothing to worry about . A specialist would better know how best to proceed. When I finally saw a specialist it took 5 minutes before he said (you have liver disease) (Now lets find out why) They just know more. I have a lot of problems but I'm making it. Gail Gail

Just don't give up my dear friend! No matter what is wrong with me I will feel better to know and not like now,feeling pain and not knowing what is wrong with me.I still don't have date for my appointment and who know when I will find out. I am so sad and depress because here in Canada everything going so slow,or maybe just in my city.
