MDJunction to me

"I have been struggling with Fibromyalgia, Bipolar, Anxiety, Post traumatic Syndrome for quite some time and pretty much going it alone. I stumbled across MDJunction by accident. I stayed in the shadows and just watched for four days and then I joined, feeling relieved and excited to have found a safe place with alot of folks that I could relate to . It's proove to be medically and emotionally
helpful to me and now I can't go a day without coming in at least 4 or five times a day! I Love my family here.

The last time I had my monthly prescriptions refilled, I had a note from my doctor to make an appt. Almost like getting a note to go see the principal. Anyway I'm guessing it's just for a check-up.

This past Saturday I did my normal routine of cleaning the house - vacuum, scrub floors, do laundry, etc. On Sunday, my forearms and hands hurt so bad that I actually treated myself to just lying low. My wrists didn't hurt at all and my hands don't go numb. I had the worst dull ache. By Monday I felt a lot better, but I really feel like I do not have all of my strength back. Also, my tremor has been much worse.

I'd like to know what kind of feedback you all might have.

O.k., I got back from my doctor's appointment and she thinks my dull pain is from muscle fatigue. I held my hands out to show her how much my tremor has increased with the weakness.

So.....feedback? What do you all think about it being muscle fatigue? I will admit that when my tremor is more active than usual (is that a nice way of saying my hands are out of control?) that I tend to grasp things alot harder.

My friend, I am sorry to hear this news. What do you think is making your tremor worse?

I have been having the same sort of things happen to me. I canbarely lift my arms over my head without being in terrible pain. I have also been exhausted lately and falling asleep even while sitting up. My fiancee thought maybe it was something other then my ET, but I have been shrugging i off. But today is horrible every muscle in my body feels like it has been worked too hard, yet I have not done anything to make it feel this way.Is it the ET? Or something else?

I have been being very good, taking my propanolol on a daily basis. My muscle fatigue has gone away - so has the weakness. Guess that kind of tells me one things - my tremor has gotten worse. I've had this stupid thing for so many years and have had to work around it, that I didn't even notice the increase. Makes sense looking back on it, though, that if the shaking is getting worse that I'd be grabbing things harder, which would give me muscle fatigue. I'm glad it's not carpal tunnel, but it does stink having the tremor get worse.

jdancey - have you had your thyroid tested or a sleep study for your exhaustion?
