I've been taking water therpy for the last 4 weeks. Grant the pool is heated. I had to take it for Fibromyalgia which i have. I got diagnosed month and 1/2 now. I did have the shakes at 4 meetings. By the 5th one i didn't shake at all . I go back today for my last one. We had a fan on me and a water hose running cold water in. I went at my own pace. They didn't push me. Suzie one of the that did my therpy ; I scared the crap out her. Cause i had a shake in the pool . My hubby always goes with me and he took my arm pulled me around till he could get me out. Sorry to say i never seen Suzie again. Anyways, I didn't stop the therpy and always the next morning had engery i didn't in long time. It Helps tone your muscles and you wil lose some weight. Im going to continual the water therpy at a friends house. Just remember never try it alone always have someone there to help you if you need it. Thought you guys would like to know.

I am so happy to know that you were able to make adjustements so that the water therapy worked for you!!

I did take a water aerobics class in college and absolutely loved it and felt so much better than I did doing regular aerobics. Unfortunately our area does not offer classes, but I do have a 4' pool in my backyard that the kids use. I'm thinking I need to make some "mom time", kick them out, and go for it!

Thanks for the advice!
