My doctor raised my dosage of Cellcept a month ago. I am up to 2500 mg daily. I have noticed an improvement since I've been on the increased dosage. For so long, my entire body has been red and inflamed, from scalp to soles. Now my arms, lower legs, face and neck are mostly white. I'm thankful to have that much reprieve.

Cellcept is an anti-immune drug that is used for organ transplants and for auro-immune diseases. The doctor said I can only increase the drug one more time. 3000 mg is the max. I'm hoping for complete remission, but only God knows when that will happen.

I sure would like to correspond with others who have this disease. Am I the only one?

The increase in dosage led to 3 weeks of marked improvement, then it all came back with a vengence. This disease is so up and down, it is hard on your body and mind. I'm really weary of it.

I sure could use a buddy who knows what I am going through. Is anyone out there with this disease?

The doc has now raised me to 3000 mg of Cellcept, the maximum dosage I can take. I don't have much hope of it helping after the quick improvement last time and just as quick decline. I have more hope in getting better after the doc has my digestive tract healed. Then my body will have more resources to concentrate on Erythroderma healing.
