MDJunction to me

MissNikkiAnn"When you have an illness with the name "Non-Familial Dysautonomia" (a name that most people, and even doctors, have never heard of), you need a network
of people who understand the name and the symptoms/issues that come with it.
MDJunction led me to that network of people during a very confusing and sickly time. For this I am thankful. And for this reason I try my best to give back to other members the same care and help that I received through MDJunction.

Busy, busy, busy at work. Just found out I have to apply to be disabled with my doc before I get more sick days. Which I desperately need this year after my second VNS surgery. Luckily I've always been too high functioning for my doctors to consider it. I have a doctor's appt this week and I get to pay for the sub to come in and take my class. While I race across town. It's odd. Half the world sees a busy teacher and is shocked to learn I have epilepsy and the other half sees an epileptic and is shocked to learn that I teach full time.

Maybe it's good to keep them guessing (?)

On a happier note...three months my peeps, without a seizure. I usually go 3-6 months between. Let's see if I can make it to August!!!! Fingers crossed!!!
