my 6 yr old son is on klonopin for 3 days now for seizures until the dr puts him on a different seizure med.He is out of control on it.He cant sleep at all.He is really wound up.Having fits where he is just giggling non stop.I heard this medicine should have relaxed him or even made him sleepy.Definately not the case.Has anyone had experiences like this?

I'm on Klonopin and it has never made me sleepy..Klonopin is inthe Valium family anyone can start giggling for no reason it still happens to me .

I'm on Tegretol 1100MG a day Clonazepam 0.5 MG a day and Topamax 400MG a day.
