Hey

This has been freaking me out and was wondering if anyone could help me with this.

three times this week and once last week in the middle of the night while I have been in a deep sleep my husband has shouted my name to wake me up yet when I look up hes not there hes already left the house, this is no whisper either its very loud and last night I heard him shout twice.

I know my seizures showed up on the left side,I dont know if this has anything to with it only this has never happened before Im not on strong meds or new meds.

You may well be having a form of dream, hidden in the subconscious are issues that work there way out in sleep. SOOOOO-- are you having issues that you both need to address regardless of how trivia they may seem? This to my knowledge appears to be more of a subconscious issue rather than a medical/medication issue.

Talk about it when you both put your heads on the pillow, i would hazard a gues that you have an insecurity/worry issue where you need your hubby.

(have some pillow chat haha)

Hey Steve

Not that either of us are aware of we have been together 23 years married 21 both get on really well it just started happening right out of the blue we have not experienced anything that could cause something of this nature no fall-outs or anything that is upsetting me. I have read that because its my left side were my seizures are affecting that its not uncommon at times for this kind of thing to happen just as visual Hallucinations can take place for those whose seizures are governerd by other locations of the brain.

There is such a lot more then the seizure itself which Im finding out about.

Thanks anyway Steve but are pillow talk is all good ha-ha

ladyjane,

A seizure can come on be idiopathic (meaning no known cause)

About 70% ppl who have seizures are idiopathic.

My concern Belinda was not the cause of my seizures I know that answer.

It was why I was hearing a loud voice sounded like my husband loud enough to wake me from sleep it was happening two nights on one off and so on now if you can answer that one that would be great!

Hi Ladyjane,

Could it possible be a reaction from one of your meds? Just a thought.

Kardie

ladyjane,

if you hear these voices right before your seizures yes thee auras.

Do you hear them before your seizures?

It's just when you know your going to have a seizure a warning.

Anything can be an aura just about.

The thing is Belinda Im actually in a deep sleep its as if someone has shouted FIRE only no fire my heart is racing Im alert and at the same time not sure what the hell is going on.

Im wondering if Im having a seizure in my sleep and voices just like smells that we can sometimes smell that are really not there are the same kind of thing.
