i have just recently been diagnosed with endometriosis and i have had it for some time i know that but never knew what it was. i was just curious if any one noticies an increase in their pain level with physical activity such as walking. It could also be due to the fact that my ovary is scared to my uteter tube on the left side just a curious question. thanks for replying in advanceLaughing

From what I can gather.. worsened Endo pain can occur during activity, this inludes walking.

are there added hormones with the nuva ring? i dont know much about it, could you explain it to me? if you dont mind. the side effects to the shots, i just couldn't handle it. extra hormones really mess me up. does it really help with the pain? i have lost 3 jobs already. walking too much, running, any sort of strenuous activity i just can't handle. and any sort of sex is most definitely out of the question at this point. how bad has your pain been?

Well I am not really sure how to ecplain it. It is a ring that goes inside of the vagina and releases so much hormone each day. It is the two hormones similar to the pill but in my case i dont have as many of the side effects becasue it does not go thoguh the entire body like the pill most of the hormones stay in the reproductive area. I had alot of side effects on the pill that i did not know were related to it until i stopped taking it. I was on it from thirteen so its hard to tell how you are suposed to feel after taking something for that long.

the side effects of the shots sucked but it was worth it for the relief i am getting now. I had hot flashes and night seeats to the point that i had to change once a night and would wake up completely soaked. Mood swings were not good.

the side effects of the nuva ring are minimal for me. I had some neasua the first week or so but then it was gone and although no one is the same it seems to be helping with the pain for now. I am skeptickal that it will stop though because most other treatments have after so long. If you have any more questions feel free to ask. My pain has beeen minimal compared to what it was i have a quality of life now and Im not spending it in bed all the time
