OK, now I understand.....over all I believe doctors are not as aware and up to date on support groups as much as Alcoholic Anonymus are.....do you think calling AA will be helpful?...I honestly believe the more validation I get from different sources, the better I get to target my questions and more peace they bring to my life....as my questions are answer in different angles......and the more at peaceful I become.....I wish you the same peaceful feeling....

Have you contacted Men's Aid? They have a phone number at the top of their website: http://www.mensaid.com/index.htm

They might be a good resource to call for local support groups. I agree with Patricia that you might benefit more from an in-person support system.
