MDJunction to me

nvrsubtle"Not having any local Bipolar support groups where I live, MDJuntion has given me a place in which people understand what I am going through and has given me a new outlook on life with support that is real and good. Without
the support that I receive from MDJunction, I would be wandering through

Hi All -- Just wanted to post a picture of my USDA certified abuse-free Christmas tree! I haven't spoken to my abuser husband since Thanksgiving (when he abandoned me and my son out of state) and he has ALL the Christmas decorations. I was able to sneak over to his house today (my old house) and grab my tree, but nothing else. So, my son and I decorated it with borrowed ornaments. I didn't think we'd have a tree this year and am so happy we do that I just have to share!

It looks BEAUTIFUL! It radiates peace and love!

As for the ornaments, stores will soon be slashing the prices on them if they haven't already. Maybe time to buy a few new ones for next year!

That's gorgeous!!!

Also, have you thought about maybe making ornaments for the tree? Maybe you can make one for each abuse-free christmas and watch them all pile up over the years Smile

Thanks all. Love the idea of collecting abuse-free ornaments to mark this event. Smile

It was so peaceful and nice decorating it: no abuser to demand what ornaments go where, bark orders about the process, or just create stress during this "joyful" time. It was truly wonderful!

It may be a sparse tree this year, but it's definitely abuse-fee.
