most of you might have already heard of this or tried this but sometimes it helps me...

its just a little thing to do when you're going crazy over weight!

1. when you are feeling FAT or UGLY and just DOWN .. or you are obsessing over yourself in the mirror, for HOURS.....

2. you take a picture of yourself in the mirror, walk away, and dont look at the picture.

3. When you are in the cutest outfit or swimsuit or whatever - and feel good - take a picture of yourself in the mirror. But don't look at it.

4. Do this for a week, a month.. however long you want...

5. Then when your day is going great, and you're mood is up... take a scroll through those pictures .. and through those days..

Most likely... all the pictures look the same. It shows how our MOODS connect to the way we THINK our bodies look in a certain state of mind.

This helps me sometimes, so try it - and see what ya think. It helps me not obsess as much in the mirror either because i know the photo is there for later.

makes me realize a lot of is in my head (about how BAD i think i look on some days)

hope someone tries this and it helps them!

Great idea... I have come to realize that I cannot trust my feelings anymore. On the days I feel huge my weight is fine and whwen i feel preyy good, I am up a couple of pounds. The scale doesn't lie (though it holds me hostage)

I'm an Advocate

It's a great idea but I don't know that I can pick up a camera when I feel so lousy about myself. My husband uses pics of me as his computer wallpaper--which is really sweet--but I hate to look at myself--even my face!
