When I saw this was doughnut day on the news this morning I wasn't thinking it was anything. My nephews wife posted the background of doughnut day.

The Salvation Army instilled doughnut day to honor the women volunteers that served WWI soldiers doughnuts as they went to war. Cool hey!

I didn't know it was doanut day yesterday, we missed out, I'm gonna go get a dozen right now for breakfast!

I can picture it during WW1 before they were sent off to fight, "heres your rifle, uniform, carton of smokes and a doanut".

for me:

1- my wife

2- my dogs

3- my rabbit

(not always in that order)
