Hi Sunflowers ....and John....I'm worried about you John! Not like you to be absent for so long Sad

Just way too busy here. Was back down at Mom's for a couple days. She moves at the beginning of May, but we have hired someone to help her with that, which is a great relief! Hubby's legs are finally healing up...went to a dermatologist a week ago and has a new treatment which is very time consuming but really seems to help Smile Then he's got eye surgery (first of 2) in a couple weeks.

I had another MRI on my hip with an injection. Haven't got the results yet, BUT I think the dye injection caused inflammation in my hip AGAIN. Hope it settles quickly Angry Just when the rest of me was feeling pretty good!

happiness

Spring has definitely sprung...finally! Have to get my snow tires off my car soon Smile

The last post where my photo didn't show up was of one of the owls. They're still there! And still attracting lots of attention!

Hugs and sunshine! Jo

Smile Smile Hi Jo!! I am concerned about John, too----he has never been away this long from puter.....hope he is ok.

Sure sounds like you are super busy. The mri--was of the hip u had surgery on?? Still not quite right....am so sorry to hear that. Glad to hear hubbys legs are healing....he sure has been having a rough time--which means a rough time for you too----togetherness!W00t Will his eye surgery be for cataracts?? They are so different these days---quick recup time. My hubby had them done a few years ago--and did really well....he started reading as soon as he got out of surgery---he read the printing on the pack of crackers he was eating----i was shocked.Silly

I wish you Mom best of luck with her move--so glad you have someone to help her....is she happy about the move?? She is a real trooper---so i bet she is happy. Will it be any closer for you to visit her??

Doing good here...there is a tree right outside our sun room window--and 2 days ago a robin started making a nest---omg so fun to watch!

Take care Jo. Hope we see John soon. Hugs and smiles, SunflowersCool

Hi Sunflowers and John:

Hubby is doing great! Saw the doc for 1 week post eye surgery check up and all is well. Expects 2nd eye surgery July 11. After that there will be no more excuses for not seeing that something needed cleaning! hahaha.

Sunny but very cool here, but nice warm weather in the forecast....yahoo! Having "girls night out" tomorrow ....my friend who spends 6 months in N.Z. and 6 months here (and therefore never has winter) is back, so 4 of us gals are doing potluck at her place. (Her hubby is away this week...while the cat's away, etc). That will be exhausting on a Fri. after work, but so worth it ....and then I have the weekend to recover. I sure can't party like I used to! Dizzy

Sunflowers - nice to be busy, but don't wear yourself out!

John - hope you are feeling better....take care of yourself, lad!

Hugs! Jo

Hey you 2! Hope all is well! John, I'm guessing you are still not up to snuff since you haven't been posting. You take care of yourself! We'll be here!

Had a weekend at Mom's (this was Canada's long weekend...I believe your's is coming up). Helped her do a bunch of shopping for her new place. It's actually really difficult to walk as slow as she does coz my balance on one leg isn't very good, so I'm actually better if I walk faster! However, at 93, she can do whatever she wants!

I discovered something about my non-Dupuy disease. I always thought I didn't have a contracture, but if I try indicating "3" by holding up 3 fingers (index, middle, ring) I can't do it very well...my ring finger won't straighten if my thumb is holding down my baby finger (if that makes sense). So it's not just a "feeling" of tightness, there actually is something that's tight. hmmm.....

Veggies are sprouting in my garden, and I bought a bunch more veggies to plant this weekend. Some of my friends and I were joking about how many anti-inflammatories it takes to plant a garden and weed! lol! But I do love my fresh veggies from the garden Smile

Hugs and summer warmth! Jo

Smile Smile Good evening---------Jo and John!! Jo, sounds like you are keeping busy--i liked the question about the anti-infmammatories----to plant a garden and weed--when you figure out the ratio---i'd love to know!W00t Well, i dont have a big garden----but i do have 2 tomato plants! They have a garden area for the residents here------so they get it all turned over--etc.--pretty much all i had to do was make the hole!

John, we miss you and hope you are feeling alittle better---just know we are thinking of you...prayers coming your way.

Well, Jo--that is interesting about your hand--think maybe you should get it checked out?? It never did feel quite right after your carpal tunnel sugery--right?? So, maybe something else is going on in there....Silly

I know--it is always something!Wink

Doing pretty good here......going to be a relaxing weekend.......not much planned--might get to the movies--i want to see What to expect when you are expecting--something like that---------our g-daughter is due in 5 weeks! So, will be watching that thinking of them!Blush

Is your Mom all settled in now, Jo?? Is she happy there?? Hope so.Tongue

Cool Take care. Hugs and sunshine, SunflowersBlush
