Ever since I realized I have bipolar and ADD I have been trying ti adjust to the idea. I am a recovering alcoholic and i put my sobriety first. It scares me that when I am officially diagnosed (I don't have the greatest insurance) so I am on a waiting list to be evaluated by Telemed, anyway, I love the clarity of mind I have now and don't want to feel drugged. I have learned to ride my hypomania to get things done and I use my 12 step tools to try to beat the depression. gotta go, just got a phone call. Thanks bye

Thanks for your encouraging message, and welcome, Allyn!

I hope you will stay with this group and that you will share more about "how you did it?"

Dual diagnosis (mental illness with addiction) is a tough load to carry, but, thanks to you and a few others in this group who have survived and learned to manage it, we can all have hope where no hope existed before!

Please keep comin' back, okay?

Regards,

Jim
