Are we in danger of loosing the group?

I always thought that it would remain a part of the dozens of other groups. Participation has always been voluntary. ...and erradic, granted.

I remember periods of days and weeks when no one came to the forum except for my friends--other group leaders, bless their kind hearts.

I always thought I had scared everyone else away! *chuckle*. If you need reassurance, look at the busier forums. Take away every post which amounts to chat or socializing, and you will see that there are a few days on those forums where you also don't see much activity.

...and you also may see that participation is proportional to membership--maybe 1 or 2% on any given day, many of those being newer members.

Chin up, and enjoy the rest, Sarah. ...and when I myself don't always post here, I ALWAYS answer PM's. Okay?

You ain't alone!

Of course the group is worth fighting for! Why, what does this mean?
Please do not take anything I say as medical advice. I am not a doctor

I had received some negativity just as JR says there has been little activity. There are only a hand full of us that check in even on a weekly basis and that is okay with me. We all have lives and hopefully for many of us our dualdiagnosis isn't in control of our lives.

Actually I didn't even mean to post that because I didn't have time prior to going to work. I meant to delete it and only deleted what I had posted.

I know I want this group because I have met some very sincere people here. Maybe the negative comment I received was awake up call to check at least daily but honestly there are days I can't but that is what the other members are for and I love you guys.Ermm

I think this group is worth fighting. I just think we need to come up with something to draw people in. There are alot of duel diagnosis in other groups. How an we get them here?

Hi, I just found this myself. You might want to ask my group, dbsa, to advertise it.

i think its an important group.

there are plenty of other groups im in that have very little activity.

i think getting rid of them is a shame because we get new members so frequently and they may need this group.

There is no way this group is going anywhere and maybe I just needed the support that others want and need this group as much as I do. Thanks for all the post.
