MDJunction to me

grandmasylvia"MDJ has been "a soft place to fall" for me as Dr Phil says. I have this very painful rare disease Dercum's Disease and take comfort in finding others here who share their knowledge and compassion. Many
members have helped me just by understanding my anguish and validating
my pain. We are working together to encourage research toward a cure.

I have to go see a new doctor today, because my poor insurance will not cover the doctor that I have become comfortable with. I HATE CHANGING DOCTORS!!!!!! Yous see a new doctor and they want your whole life history in 15 minutes and then they analyse you even though they truely know nothing! I have had to go through so many doctors and so many millions of questions and still I have to see a new doctor just to get the meds I need on a daily basis. Yet if I had diabetes or cancer I would have no problems getting the care I need and other people would understand that I need to have my daily meds for maintance! Oh well another doctor and another millions of questions to answer!!!!!!

And then they don't remember the answers to the questions so you have to answer them again the next time. That's the worst part of it. I have been so lucky and have had the same pdoc for years and actually like him. But therapists have come and gone, some because of insurance. I'm like you and hate the millions of questions. I hope your appt. went good. Let us know.
