Hey everyone! I want to share with you all that Ana has finally came off of her pain patches. She has been on these patches for years. After multiple times trying to get off of them, she finally won the battle. Ana was strong and got her inner strengh from you all. "If they can do it, I can do it." (thats what she said in a PM to me.)

Today is the first day she has been without the withdraws. "my head is clear."

Everyone give Ana a big hugg and let her know how proud she makes you.

ANA, i am glad that you were able to get off of these patches. I am sorry you had to deal with the the withdraws, but i am proud that you are off, and clean, and clear minded!

CONGRATS!Tongue Laughing Silly

Yes that's wonderfull I know how hard that is,I just went to pills from the patches until I had to go inpatient so to do it on your own takes an inter strength that was beyond me,

I really think Anna got what it takes and can now share that with others who will be along now that can lean on her,it's a we program,it's the only way.

On the road of recovery,together

It was hard getting off the fentanyl patches, I tried to sleep all the time so I would not feel all the side effects but I would dream that I had nausea and that my stomach was on fire, weird crazy dreams. But finally did it, I tried before even ended up in the hospital the 1st time. But seeing how hard the members have worked to be clean I knew I can do it this time. I DID IT. Thank you to all members for giving me the strength to go on. It feels so good being off of them obviously I didn't need them anymore but my body was addicted to it. So now it feels so good, I am not dizzy and feel more clear and have more energy, have been doing 1 hour of exercises to get back into shape. What helped me was watching the members get clean and I knew I could do it. Thank you to all members that fought so hard to get clean, I was by your side then and remembering how we worked so hard to get clean helped me alot, and for the support I got from BrandiJo and Yvonne, Thank You all and Hello to Life

Just now catching up Ana...but CONGRATS!!! I'm sure that was a hard; I've heard the withdrawals can be brutal; but you are STRONG!!

I can't remember...What was the reason you were on them to begin with?

I'm so proud of you!! and I'll catch up more with you via PM over the weekend. Hope you do something nice for yourself to celebrate!!

Thank you everyone, your support means alot. To answer sadmom's question I was on the patches because I have pancreatitis which causes chronic pain. When I left the hospital they put me on the patches, I hated them, was on them for 9 years, It feels so great to be off of them. I feel free, isn't that strange but I am free from being controlled by the patches, it feels great. Thanks everyone
