 Hi I am new to this group. I was looking for somebody to listen to my storry and give me some kind of help. My brother is an Herion addict and I find It very hard to deal with. He went to rehab back in July did the programe and then came out was good now Im not so sure. At the beging of January my father found his using needles and such .see he went to jail and lost his home , so his wife lives with her mom and dad and he live bettween my mom and dads houses. Just got kicked out of my fathers house and can only stay with my mother till to day. He has his son this week and on the weekends he goes to his wifes house they plain to get there owen place but till then he has to go from place to place. I will only let him stay with my family if he has his son. So for another month he is pretty muck homless and that taers me up.

Very hard to deal with

 Welcome Tink. Sorry to hear about your brother. I know how it is to see someone you love fall down the wrong path. Unfortuantely there's nothing you can unless he wants the help & works very hard at being sober. It's a day to day deal, there's no getting help then coming out and using again if you truely want to be sober. Heroin has to be the hardest of them all to kick. well thats what i hear from my bf. He doesnt use like he used to but he does still occasionaly fall into the rut of using. I hope you find some kind of peace and know that you can only do as much as you can. If you need to vent feel free to PM me

 Hi Tink, I am Sorry to hear your frustraions also. I am a recovering bipalr addict And I have lived in dysfunctional families for 25 years. I guess that makes me an expert? (-:

Any way it is remarkable that your experience is much like my Mom is having RIGHT NOW! I'm emailing this topic to her. Hopefully she'll respond.
