Are you going to Narcotics Anonymous meetings? If you are not, I strongly suggest them. There is a lot of support there.

Hi my brother took subxone but he said he only had to take it for 3 days, you say you have taken it for 6 months? He was in rehab and said that he didnt need it . I find that hard to believe because he was a heroin addict for 6 long years . If you can canyou tell me a little bit about it. So I can understand what he is say is the truth.

thank you

tink

Well 1st i researched it and my friend who is a nurse urged me to try it!to me it is a miracle!!BUT you have to want to be the person you were before the drugs, why wouldnt anyone want that?? its not a drug that gets you high ,at first you may be alittle sleepy and after that you just put it under your tounge let it melt and for the rest of the day you are fine, you start to relearn how great life was before you screwed up! the dr will ajust your does and slowly bring you down ! you have got to want to get off the drugs!!! you wont be high but you will not hurt, have withdraws and you feel normal again, until you are ready to wing it i think most important it shows you howgreat you really had it before you started drugs!!I've got alot more info if you need it just ask ill tell ya all about it..I will look for my book and give you the # to get one or you ask and ill tell ya .......HERE FOR YA ANYTIME......ANGIE

Tink, 3 days is definately not long enough. my bf has been on the program twice and almost a year the first time. he's been on it 3mths again this time around. it is a blocker. he says he can't get high when taking it because of the blocker but trust me there are ways around taking it and getting high. they definately have to want it & yes it is better then methodone he says. some can slowly come off of it but some can't. they have to want to be sober. & it takes work EVERYDAY to be sober the suboxone does help with the withdrawls and cravings but it definately doesnt do ALL the work it takes to stay sober.
~RIP~ My Love. For you traveled a long hard road. You can now rest in peace with your mother. I will always love you & never ever forget you.
