Hi Nikki,I am so sorry you are in this situation! No you are not crazy. It may feel like it when you are in a dysfunctional relationship. The addicted person is sick and spreads it to the rest of the family. Everyone ends up feeling "crazy", while the addict medicates, so they don't have to feel anything! They take the easy way out, while everyone else suffers. Can you explain more of the situation? How long have you been together? How long has he been using? Is he willing to get help? Has he been in treatment before? If you don't want to answer these questions, you don't have to. If you want, you can Pm me. It is easier for me to give advice when I have more information. I can tell you that you have to find away to take care of yourself. There are meetings you can go to called narc-anon or al-anon . They can be very helpful for the family of the addict.
