Ya know how we addicts say we can give it up anytime we want? SO NOT TRUE! ok, no matter what the choice of drug it is, say... crack, heroin, meth, or booze, MJ or RX pills (or even Food!) it's got control over US and it leaves us powerless unless we make ourselves get the help we need TODAY..NOT TOMORROW,, because tomorrow never comes, ( think about that one ) any choice of drug habit we are stuck on, will run us around in circles looking for means to get our next fix, it's a VICIOUS CYCLE until we've lost PROPERTIES, FRIENDS, FAMILY and worse yet, OUR SELF ESTEEM, SELF RESPECT,OUR HEALTH, FREEDOM UNLESS...we wind up dead first. OK...there you have used all that was in your goody bag and youre GEEKING...no more fix to be had...THEN WHAT? after you depleted all crumbs and rez..you realize you've missed an appt. or you're trying to think what you're gonna say to your other half or family, as to where the money went ( instead of the movie rental, and popcorn you went to get, gas and cigs, whatever the excuse...the drug dragged you down and left you STUCK in more ways than one,,,once you

realize this you get to thinking: " IT'S NOT WORTH IT!! " We have all been there, done that, bought the T-shirt, wore it and took it back so to speak......Hello, My name is Mona Cherie and these are my feelings. Any addiction is a series of VICIOUS CYCLES where you do things you wouldn't normally do to get the next dose, or fix. It runs you around like a fiend and it's

a real demon. It's not easy to recover from any addiction, and it sounds to me that you are amazingly serious and making some real progress.

Welcome, here you won't be judged, but you will be loved, as we all care for each other enough to support one another through our afflictions. You are HOME here, and the more you post, even just to say hello, you will build friendships with like problems, needs, hobbies, etc. I have been here only a few months and It is my home, folks here are my family, and if you aren't the sort to form alot of online relationships , that's ok too. There will be one to a few guys or ladies you can talk to/relate to/ and want to bond, so to speak, with.

If you can give me a bit more info on the Ketamine Nick, I would appreciate it!

I am a recovering cocaine addict. I was left for dead back in Nov. after being brutally attacked and I

am alive by a miracle. I have been clean since, I had gone to a Rehab on the beaches of West Palm beach near Miami, for a month and I made many friends of the staff memberes and have been invited back as a speaker. I look so forward to that.

Just keep in mind that our addictions can only end up in IMPRISOMENT, THE HOSPITAL, OR in DEATH.

It can strip us of our self-esteem, respect, monies, families, our very lives! and for what? To last another day to chase our next fix? Not worth it. I found that joining a fitness club is my NEW fix, and working in here is too, I love it so!

Life is a mystery. It is a gift.
Don't dare miss even a moment of it.
Yesterday was a lesson, today is a prayer,
Tomorrow would mean nothing,
If I can't find you there !
