MDJunction to me

ThereseML"When I first came to MDJ, I was in need of peer support in dealing with issues of my childhood abuse. I was moving away from the painful issues and trying to find an uplifting group of people to help me transition to a thriver in my life. I found that here. I also found a group of peers with Fibromyalgia and found the same uplifting experience there. My computer crashed and it was a while before I found my way back, this time with issues related to Parkinson's Disease. I had tried a few other support sites before reminding myself of MDJ. On those, I never got a reply. I finally found my way back here and again found very supportive, caring and inspiring people who made me feel like I was 'back home'. Indeed I am." (ThereseML)

Ive been using again for months,After I use im...feeling the effects for days after, flu like symtoms,Headaches , cramps...tired. im tired..
Saddle tramp how many people watch you riding by
Like a thunder cloud that floats across the Arizona sky
And wonder if their looking at a mighty happy man
Or just a lonely breeze that drifts across, the endless desert sand * Charlie Danials*

Ill learn to play the saxaphone
il play just what i feel, drink scotch whiskey all night long
and die behind the wheel
They got a name for the winners in the world
I want a name when i lose
they call Alabama the crimson tide
so call me deacon blues *Steely Dan*

Their is no pain, you are receding
A distant ship, smoke on the horizen
You are only coming through in waves
Your lips move, but I cant hear what your saying
When I was a child I caught a fleeting glimpse
Out of the corner of my eye
I turned to look, but it was gone
I can not put my finger on it now
The child has grown , the dream is gone
I have become, comfortably numb...* Pink Floyd*

ive got a little black book, with my poems in
I got a bag with my toothbrush, and comb in
I got a grand piano to prop up my mortal remains
Ive got WILD staring eyes! And Ive got a strong urge to FLY!
But ive got no where to fly to.... *Pink Floyd*

I walk the walls, with you baby, a thousand miles, with you
Who dried my tears of pain? A million times ..with you.* Billy Idol*

Markm is that why you have been so distant, what are you using, what made you start, was there a specific incident that made you use. You have been acting so different lately,so distant, you were not as close and caring as before. I kept wondering why. See what drugs do to you. Its even carried across in the groups.

after you use you feel sick from the side effects of the drugs, like a hang over. At least you are finally admitting it, if you need to talk send me a PM. I am glad you realize its time to stop, We all relapse, I had so many relapses but you have to stop and pick yourself up again and start all over. It will be hard but you have so many friend on MDJ, not just this group but other groups too, you have friends all over. You are a very popular member and we are all here for you. Just let us know what you need, you know I am here for you. Did you tell Sharone, I am sure she would want to be by your side and to support, just like I am here to support you.

My advice is purely personal. I am not a Doctor. Please do not take anything I say as medical advice or a diagnosis.

Mark, You can get this under control I just know it. I know its hard I've seen many people struggle with drug addiction. Like Ana says many people relapse. Consider it practicing for the real thing. You still had that clean time and no one can take it away from you. I am on your side. Here if you need me.
A dream becomes a goal when action is taken toward its achievement~ Bo Bennett

There is only one way... to get anybody to do anything. And that is by making the other person want to do it.~ Dale Carnegie

I laugh, I love, I hope, I try I hurt, I need, I fear, I cry.
And I know you do the same things too,
So we're really not that different, me and you.
