Even though we foiled a spammer, I though it would be okay to bring this topic to this forum instead. I have not tried the Principal Secret as of yet. I have been spending some money on the high-end stuff; Lancome, Estee Lauder and Clinique. The only time I buy anything from them is when they have a give away when you make a purchase.

The other day, on my Yahoo screen, there was an interesting video by Dr. Oz about reversing the aging process when it comes to our face. He picked 3 of the top plastic surgeons, each a different specialty of facial surgery. They gave each of these doctor's $20 and told them to go buy the best thing they could find at their friendly neighborhood CVS. Almost 3 years ago, I had gastric bypass surgery, got to my goal weight, went in for plastic surgery and ended up having a horrible reaction to something they gave me and ended up loosing another 20+ pounds. That made my total weight loss 165 pounds. Losing that amount of weight left me with very deep wrinkles around my mouth and my neck. I had my arms lifted, tummy tuck, and a breast lift and implants. Anyway, the surgery did address all but one of the issues I had with skin, but I didn't want to have any facial surgery and have been spending a fortune on creams and serums designed for facial wrinkle treatment.

The one surgeon purchased Loreal's Revitalift. That is what I am trying next. Down side is that there was no sample, but on the plus side a bottle each of the day version and the night version cost me less money than one product would have at the high-end places.

I also work on keeping me organized and unmessy. I have been trying to come up with a good way of organizing my cosmetics; I have a spending problem when it comes to make-up and just don't know what to do with all this stuff. But I have been pretty much trying to keep up with my skin care regemine.

I hope everyone has a productive day.

Colleen

My sister uses the Loreal. I don't have lot's of extra spending money for cosmetic type stuff. I wonder how long the $20 bottle lasts?

I have no skin care regiment at all and my face is starting to show it!

My mom always said, "moisturize, moisturize, moisturize!" I have to be careful which products I use because I am allergic to avocado and most of the thick creams have things listed only as 'fruit oil extract'.

I use Aveeno positively ageless for my face. It isn't greasy

I desire to inspire before I expire.

KittenMittens my grandmother always said the same thing. She also swore by Oil of Olay and had a great looking face until she was really older.

My sister uses it too and calls it Oil of Old Lady because it was a joke my grandmother had.

Ok you two have me convinced, when I get back from my trip I am going to investigate a good skin care regiment. Time to apply the Disorganized and Messy spirit of working on it to my own personal self not just my house!

What products do other people use?

I can't stand the feel of it on my face so I don't use it, but a friend of mine swears by good old fashioned, Vaseline. You can't use it with make up, but it's a great night-time moisturizer. I use it on my feet with cotton socks and it works great; it keeps my skin very soft until I get my pedicure. Every 3 weeks or so I get my nails done and a pedicure. I spend a bit of money on it but I'm worth it!

Wouldn't vaseline clog your pores?

I use vaseline to take off my eye make up if I dont have makeup remover.

My grandmother used to use something that smelled like gardenias. It was some type of cold cream. I still remember the smell of it and her hair in pin curls.

I desire to inspire before I expire.
