i am new to this group and I'm tryin to lose the weight. i need suggestions. I work out at the gym and i have been cutting down on portions and little sucsess IM FRUSTRATED!!!!!

I go to the gym a least four times a week if not more. I do 30 min on the elypticle then wheights and try to finish off with a walk on the tred mill. on thursday I do cardio dance. I really havn't changed my diet ,I have tryed to cut portions and stop sodas and fast food but being a mom of four healthy eating is ruff.

Sounds like your workout is good maybe if you add another day in and watch calories and fat and portions drink lots of water I can imagine I'm a mOm its hard to eat right when you have a teenager in the house and he can eat anything and not gain a pound LOL I wish I was like that LOL Good luck keep me posted

I found that the first 20 days were the toughest but after that if felt like a routine. Once you find the diet that is right for you its just a 20day challenge to be as strict as possible...next thing you know its not so hard. The trick is to find the diet that fits your lifestyle and the things you like to eat.

I found a good resource www.gotdiet.com that explains a bunch of diets like Atkins diet, South Beach diet, Nutrisystem etc.

The good thing is that there are many on line resources so just hunt around till you choose the right diet for you...there's enough of them out there you should be able to find one.
