I thought you might be interested in this short documentary produced by the Phoenix Children's Hospital about a young boy who had a severe kidney dysfunction and was on dialysis for the first 15 months of his life.

His story is inspiring, and it's amazing to see his family's (especially his mom's- a single mother!) strength throughout the ordeal, as well as the incredible support offered by the doctors.

What an amazing story, it's so great to see an inspirational story like this, especially when it involves such a young child. Thank you for sharing it.

This is a wonderful story! I know exactly how that mom felt. We are still waiting for my dauthers transplant to happen, she has been on dialysis for 15 months as well, we are still looking at possibly another 6. She just turned 19 months on the 26th. We are very excited for the process to start & scared too, but she is ready to be a normal 2 year old I think! Congrats to this mother! I can only imagine her happiness
