Hi ya'll. It's been four months since being diagnosed with Diabetes 2 which was 48 hours after diagnosed with COPD. I'm attempting to learn all I can and look forward to sharing and listening to everyone. Thank you for being here.

Welcome to the group! There is so much to learn. Don't let it overwhelm you. Just take one day at a time and implement what you learn as you go. I've havd diabetes for 8 years, went to a diabetes care class this week and learned even more.

Best wishes, Violett

Any suggestion I offer is intended as friendly advice based solely on my own experience. Please consult your doctor for professional guidance.

Hello TNRED,

Yes, it can be overwhelming at times but you're doing the right thing. Learn all you can about your disorders so you can be your number 1 advocate and have a more active role in your plan of care!

Best of luck!

Please feel free to use this forum at any time! Remember that everyone here is going through or has gone through the same things as you. You're not alone!

Hugs,

Kathleen
