 i was just diagnosed a couple weeks ago as full diabetic. i am on lantus 15u in teh morning and glimerpride 2mg every morning. its been a tough adjustment for me and my family but we are working on it. so i am glad for this group to help me without being patronizing like the medical people are.

 diabetes is not the death sentence it was years ago. NOT that is IF you live within the diabetic diet.

not everyone has the will power to do so and that's [ particially ] why we are here,to help each other through those times.

take you meds,even if you THINK it's ok not to,cause it's NOT.

 Hi Wolflover, Earle is right, you need to take your medications, they will help to control your diabetes, and put off any of the complications of the illness.

Sticking to the diet like he said is tough, personally I have a hard time with it.. We're here to support each other, answer questions etc.

Sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with full diabetes.
