I have eaten the same foods as I did the day before and my fasting levels are different. Could this be due to eating at different times of the day? I live a busy life and sometimes I can not eat at the same time every day. Also, my hungriest time of the day is after dinner so I try to eat that about 6:60 - 7:00 pm. Could this be doing it? Sometime at bedtime I eat a few nuts before bed as the dietician said that nuts digest slowly and dont cause the quick highs and lows as other foods do.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks,

Patty

Hi, Patty! Part of your problem could be exercise. I've found that different types of exercise affect my blood sugar in different ways. If I nap in the afternoon, my blood sugar is always higher than if I don't. Also, I don't eat after 10pm, as that causes my blood sugar to be high the next morning, too. I check my blood sugar four times a day, and that helps me to see what foods are causing the problem, and how exercise effects my blood sugar, too. Hope this helps. Muriel
