Hello my name is Liz, i am 26 yrs old and i just found out that i have type 1 diabetes. I found out when i was in the ER with DKA, thankfuly i am now at home with my kids that i adore. but i am feeling a little overwhelmed. i know that a lot of people have this disease, and that i am not the only one, but no one in my family has it and i dont know a single person that has diabetes. so i guess im just looking for support from people that have gone thru this horrible first week. |
