That is pretty cool, Star!

When it says or an autoimmune disease , I wonder if that can mean diabetes?

I totally related to the deep horizontal ridging section. ...known as Beau’s lines is due to a temporary stoppage of nail growth. It can be a sign of zinc deficiency, a significant dietary change, stress, a serious illness or infection, a heart attack or anorexia. The event can be dated with respect to nail growth and will grow out with the nail.

UUUHHHH! my gosh!!! You've been through the ringer..no wonder we haven't heard from you in a bit. Seriously...if you need to scream..just do it. Go ahead. I suggest grabbing a pillow though first. Actually, I've done that. A couple of girls and I once took pillows and screamed as loud and as hard as we could into them. It does help a little. Mostly just makes you laugh though.
But truly Mary, I'm so sorry for all this crap to land at the same time. What an ordeal! Any time you need to you just ...

My daughter is 12 years old. Yes, she does love coffee! Particularly fancy ones. :-D There is this quaint village about an hour, or so, from our home that just has some adorable shops and that coffee house is one of them. It is soooooo quaint, and she just adores it!

Interesting!

I read a book long time back from my local library about Drs Banting and Best. Dr Banting had designs to be a medical missionary, but following the war, found himself at a research hospital. The book was aimed at the children's market, and I had checked it out to read to my son, but I was the one that really enjoyed it. I believe th...

I'll let my son know your experience. Perhaps that will get him on the stick to take his meds. He's been doing great with testing and shots, but remembering his pills is another matter!

He complains quite a bit about stiffness and body aches. Some mornings he's moaning that he must have slept on this, or that, part wrong because of the ache, or pain. Here it could have been the lack of Vitamin D all along!
